The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team won a pair of key matches Saturday, defeating Coe College and Grinnell College by identical 7-2 scores in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  UW-W is ranked twenty-sixth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III poll and fifth in the Central Region.  Coe is ranked eleventh in the Central, and both Coe and Grinnell feature individual players ranked in the region.

Both players at one singles for Whitewater and Coe are ranked in the Central Region.  Coe's Lucero is eighth, Whitewater's Divelbiss sixth.  At two singles, Whitewater's Bayliss is twentieth, Schupbach of Coe is twenty-fourth.  The Lucero-Schupbach duo is fifth in Central Region doubles ratings.

Coe is 17-5 in dual meets this year.

Grinnell's Krull, now 17-4, is the fourteenth ranked singles player in the ITA Division III Central Region.

Grinnell is 12-9 in dual meets for 2012-13.

UW-Whitewater, 16-8, will host Carthage College and Carroll University April 23 on the Wangerin Courts south of the Williams Center on campus.  The Whitewater-Carthage match will begin at 3:30, Whitewater-Carroll is set for 6:30.  As always, given Wisconsin's unpredictable spring weather, any changes will be posted on the women's tennis schedule.
