They did it again. UW-Whitewater won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tennis championship, capturing the WIAC Tournament Sunday. The league tournament accounts for two-thirds of the season point total with regular season dual matches, which UW-W also won, accounting for one third. Ingrid Stensvaag was named the recipient of the
WIAC's Judy Kruckman Scholar Athlete Award for tennis, and Kalla Schaefer was UW-W's representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team.

UW-Whitewater clinched its third consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference dual meet title with an 8-1 win at UW-Eau Claire Saturday afternoon. The Warhawks ended dual meet competition with a 6-0 record, and are 12-0 overall.

The UW-Whitewater women’s tennis team defeated UW-La Crosse 6-3 for their tenth straight dual match victory on Friday in La Crosse. UW-W is now 10-0 overall this season and 5-0 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. UW-L is 7-2 overall and 2-1 in the WIAC.
