This week's Women's Tennis Players of the Week are Alexandra Bayliss (Sheboygan/North), Lauren Aguilar (Gurnee, IL/Carmel Catholic ), and Abby Martin (Johnsburg, IL/Johnsburg).

Sheboygan freshman, Bayliss, earned her honors by posting a record of 5-0 on the week. She won at #3 singles against Bachmeier of UW-Eau Claire, 6-1, 6-0, at #2 singles against Harrington of Concordia University, 6-3, 6-0, and won the #2 singles draw in the Warhawk Invite. She won 6-0, 6-0 over Sodemann of Carthage College, 6-1, 6-2 over Thirouin of Grinnell College, and 6-4, 6-1 over Devore of Illinois Wesleyan University in the championship.

Gurnee sophomore, Aguilar, and Johnsburg senior, Martin, earned their honors by winning 8-0 at #2 doubles over Concordia University and by winning the #2 doubles draw at the Warhawk Invite. They defeated Heibl/Wolf of UW-Eau Claire 6-1, 6-2, as well as winning against Turnow/Counsell of UW-Oshkosh 6-1, 6-2, and they defeated Fitch/Feldmen of Grinnell College in the championship 6-3, 6-3.

Women's Tennis will travel to Elmhurst College this Saturday, September 11. Matches will begin at 1:00 pm.
