'Hawks Topple Principia College 9-0

The women’s tennis team defeated Principia College, 9-0, on Thursday in Hilton Head, South Carolina.  The Warhawks’ overall record is now 15-5.

 

Tiffany Dawson improved her overall record at three singles to 2-0 with a straight sets victory over Carey Erwin.  Jenny Woyahn, Michelle Daciolas, and Kelly Rutkowski played at the four, five and six singles positions respectively for the first time this season and also won in straight sets.

The Warhawks’ next competition is April 4 and 5 in Madison, Wisconsin for a Midwest Team Invitational.

 

The Warhawks’ next home match will be April 19, when UW-W hosts Olivet Nazarene College and Carthage College in the courts south of Williams Center on campus.
