Seniors Brady Grayvold (Norway, MI/Norway) and Spencer Jacque (Cedar Grove /Cedar Grove) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team were named Wednesday to the 2015 National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Hampshire Honor Society.
 
Grayvold, a defensive back, and Jacque, a linebacker, helped lead the 2014 Warhawks to their ninth Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title in the last 10 years and the program's sixth NCAA Division III national championship in the last eight years.
 
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have competed in their final season as a player and maintained a 3.2 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. A total of 826 players from 280 institutions at all levels of college football earned membership to the Hampshire Honor Society.
 
Grayvold garnered first team All-America accolades from D3football.com, the American Football Coaches Association and the Associated Press. He finished the season with a WIAC-best eight interceptions, including three returned for touchdowns, and totaled 61 tackles.
 
A first team all-conference and all-region pick, Grayvold was tabbed first team Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America, and was a semifinalist or finalist for three different national awards – the NFF's William V. Campbell Trophy, the NCAA Division III Gagliardi Trophy and the Cliff Harris Award for the nation's top small college defensive player. He is majoring in secondary education and history and carries a 3.33 GPA.
 
Jacque played in 14 games in 2014, recording 24 tackles, including 2.5 for a loss. A finance and marketing major, Jacque owns a cumulative GPA of 3.41 and earned team academic honors for posting a 4.0 term GPA during the fall semester. He is a two-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
