The Warhawks (4-3 overall) won two of three doubles matches before taking four of six in singles.
The Tigers (1-3) took matches at No. 3 doubles, No. 4 singles and No. 5 singles.

Jake Humphreys (Kenosha/Tremper) gave UW-Whitewater an early lead with an 8-6 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Ben Shklyar (Deerfield, IL/Deerfield) and junior
Michael Treis (Brookfield, Wis./Brookfield Central) then knocked off DePauw's Christopher Bertolini and Daniel Rodefeld, the nation's 25th-ranked pair according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, by an 8-2 score at the top spot.
In singles play, Humphreys was first to finish, claiming a 6-1, 6-2 victory at the first position. Laktash followed suit in straight sets, posting a 6-4, 6-4 triumph at No. 6 to improve to 5-5 in singles for the year.
Treis clinched the match for the Warhawks, moving to 4-1 on the season with a 6-3, 6-3 win at the No. 2 slot.
Shklyar tacked on another point for UW-Whitewater with a 7-5, 6-3 victory at the fifth position.
The Warhawks continue action Friday and Saturday with the Warhawk Invitational at Premier Tennis and Fitenss in Janesville. UW-Whitewater takes on Ohio Wesleyan Friday at 11 a.m. to start the tournament.
