STEVENS POINT, Wis. - Kaitlyn Thill (Belgium/Ozaukee), a senior guard, was honored with First Team All-America recognition by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association at the Final Four banquet Thursday evening. Thill is just the second Warhawk to garner first team honors joining Donna Lind (1981-82, American Women's Sports Federation) with the accolades. She added

Thill is the fifteenth UW-Whitewater women's basketball player to earn All-America honors marking the twenty-first time in program history a Warhawk has earned the distinction.
Thill, a First Team All-Central Region selection by D3hoops.com, First Team All-WIAC and All-Defensive Team pick this season, averages 12.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.9 steals and 3.9 assists per game to lead the Warhawks to a 26-4 record. She has led the team to a perfect 16-0 conference record for the program's second straight league title and Whitewater's seventh consecutive at-large berth into the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament.
In the postseason, Thill posts 11.3 points, 4.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. She has led the Warhawks to a return trip to the NCAA Division III Final Four. UW-W finished as the national runner-up last season.
The senior guard has eclipsed the career steal marks in program and WIAC history by over 100 steals during her four seasons orchestrating the offense for UW-W.
