SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The fourth best team score on the uneven bars, 47.125, propelled the Warhawk gymnastics team to victory in the Hamline University Triangular Sunday afternoon. UW-W totaled 184.600 in the meet followed by Hamline University, 182.275, and Gustavus Adolphus, 167.275.

The top six spots in the uneven bars competition were filled by Warhawks.
Cici Talcott (Kentwood, MI/East Kentwood) led the way, winning the event with a score of 9.5.
Amanda Quinn (Carol Stream, IL/Glenbard North) and
Allyse Dieringer (Germantown, WI/Germantown) tied for second with 9.45.
Megan Love (Henrico, VA/Godwin) and
McKenzie Foster (Manitou Beach, MI/Addison) recorded routines that scored 9.375 and 9.3 respectively to round out the top five.
Foster added a second place finish on the vault with a score of 9.525 to lead UW-W to a team total of 46.725 in the event.
Kristen Shackleton (New Lenox, IL/Lincoln Way Central) and
Hannah Lee (Clarksville, TN/Clarksville) finished third and fourth respectively on the balance beam. The teammates posted scores of 9.375 and 9.25 to lead Whitewater. Dieringer was the top finisher for the Warhawks in the floor exercise with a routine scoring 9.6.
Foster was second in the all-around competition combining performances on all four apparatus for a 35.525.
The Warhawks will host their first home meet of the season Saturday, January 25 beginning at 4:00 against UW-Stout. The home opener has been designated as parent's, 10.0 Club and alumni night.
