All of Whitewater's ranked players won as UW-W tennis coordinator
Frank Barnes expanded his playing roster for the dual. Ben Shkylar, fifth in the Central Region and
Byron Balkin (Madison/Memorial), twentieth, did not play singles. The duo of
Mitch Osborne (Crystal Lake, IL/Central) and Shklyar, third in the Central Region doubles ranking, defeated their LFC counterparts 8-3 at one doubles.
UW-W evened its record at 11-11 for the year.
Whitewater will host the "WIAC Final Four" Friday and Saturday on the Wangerin Courts, south of Williams Center. UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh and UW-Eau Claire -- the other WIAC teams sponsoring men's tennis, will play. Matches are set for 3:30 Friday, and 9:00 and 1:00 Saturday.
