Men's Tennis Tops La Crosse and Eau Claire

The UW-Whitewater men's tennis team defeated UW-La Crosse 9-0 and UW-Eau Claire 6-3 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin Saturday.  UW-W, ranked ninth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region poll, has won nine straight dual matches and is 19-7 this season.

UW-W ran its win streak to nine in matches against WIAC opponents.  Whitewater's last loss was April 17, 2010, 7-2 to UW-Eau Claire in La Crosse.

Osborne leads UW-W in singles wins with a 21-5 record this season.  McGlashen and Bayliss improve to 17-6 and 16-11, respectively. The team of Balkin and Osborne continue to lead Whitewater in doubles competition wins this season, improving their record to 17-7.

UW-Whitewater will head to Dubuque, IA and take on the University of Dubuque on April 28 at 8:30 a.m.
