Allyse Dieringer (Germantown, WI/Germantown) won two events for the Warhawks, earning the top score on the parallel bars, 9.525, and on the balance beam, 9.70. Dieringer led a sweep on the bars, with teammates
Annie Mix (Olive Branch, MS/SBEC),, 9.35, and
Katie Thompson (Kingsport, TN/Sullivan South), 9.275 in second and third. Dieringer's score on the beam ties for fourth best all-time in the UW-W record book.
Allison Nelson (Naperville, IL/Neuqua Valley) took second place in the vault with a score of 9.40,
Katrin Finch (Boise, ID/Boise) tied for second on the beam at 9.45, and
Katie Thompson (Kingsport, TN/Sullivan South) had the number two score in the all-around competition, 36.15.
UW-W, 5-0 with all the competition against Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference competiton, will travel a bit for its next "home" meet. The Warhawks will host Winona State Friday, February 18 at 7:00 p.m. at the
Frontier Airlines Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
