Jeff Donovan (Wauwatosa/East) has earned D3baseball.com Second Team All-America honors for the 2010 season. He was chosen in the utility position.
Donovan started every game for the Warhawks, batting .348 and leading the team with 13 home runs and 68 home runs. He also led UW-W starters with a .642 slugging percentage and 38 walks. He also had a fielding percentage of .993, tied for the team lead, in his play at first base.
Donovan earned his All-America recognition with his versatility, also appearing in ten games as a pitcher. He had the second lowest earned run average on the team at 3.79 to go along with his 4-1 record in nine starts.

Donovan earned First Team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors three times, including first team honors as both a first baseman and utility player in 2010, the only player honored twice in 2010.
Donovan also earned honorable mention all-America honors from D3football.com last fall, while quarterbacking the Warhawk football team to the NCAA III championship and an undefeated season.
UW-Whitewater won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship and WIAC Tournament title in 2010, earning a berth in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Championship Tournament. The Warhawks advanced to the sweet sixteen, losing in the regional championship game to end the year 42-7.
