Two "throwers" also demonstrated their versatility, earning points outside of that area. JoLyn Owen (Middleton/Middleton) (82-9) and Allison Gonzalez (Oak Creek/Oak Creek) (79-5) finished 2-3 in the javelin, combined with 4-5 finishes (Gonzalez ahead this time) in the 100 hurdles, Gonzalez at 18.01 and Owen at 18.49.
