The UW-Whitewater women's basketball team put the final exclamation point on the end of another great season with their annual banquet. The banquet was held on Sunday, April 11 at the University Center on the campus of UW-Whitewater. The team finished the season as Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Association champions with a conference record of 12-4. They finished the season with a 21-8 overall record and advanced to the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III tournament for the third straight season.
Several student-athletes earned awards that were voted on by their teammates. They were:

Nicole Bundy (Fredonia/Ozaukee)
Marty van Steenderen -
Kelsey Hendrickson (Monroe/Monroe) and
Heidi Sonntag (Milwaukee/Wisconsin Lutheran)
