Mitchell UW-W Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Senior Forward/Center Dustin Mitchell from Lac Du Flambeau (Lakeland) was named UW-Whitewater’s player of the week. Mitchell scored 15 points on 5-8 shooting en route to a 61-58 victory in Stevens Point on January 27th.
In a January 30th game against Stout Mitchell put up his seventh double-double of the season 28 points on 9-18 shooting while hauling down 11 rebounds as the Warhawks lost a tough game against UW-Stout 77-95.
UW-Whitewater is now 16-3 overall and 8-2 in the WIAC. Whitewater is now ranked sixth in the D3hoops.com poll. The Warhawks host UW-La Crosse this Wednesday, February 3 at 7:00 p.m. then travel to UW-River Falls on Saturday, February 6 at 7:00 p.m.
