Montanye, Krueger, and Buchholz earn All-North Region honors

UW-Whitewater's
Dan Montanye,
Andrew Krueger, and
Luke Buchholz were named to the NCAA Division III Men’s All-North Region Team selected by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Buchholz, a junior forward from Whitewater, earned second team honors for the All-Region team. He led UW-W in goals with 12 and scoring with 26 points. Montanye, a junior midfielder from Mukwonago, who contributed 4 goals and 6 assists to the team and Krueger, a sophomore goalkeeper from New Berlin had a .85 goal against average while earning third team honors for the All-Region team.
The three helped the team to a 12-6-3 season, adavancing to round two of the NCAA III Tournament. The Warhawks also won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship in 2009.
Montanye, Krueger, Buchholz were also selected on the WIAC conference team.
