Levell Coppage (Oak Park, IL/Oak Park) was named UW-Whitewater's offensive player of the week. With 2:55 left during the third quarter, Coppage sprinted 31 yards for a touchdown, Saturday against UW-Stout. The next Warhawk possession he brought the ball down to the four yard line on a 46 yard run. Two plays later Coppage scored another touchdown in the third quarter, to bring the final score in the game to 30-7. He rushed for 163 yards on 20 carries.
Mathew McCulloch (Janesville/Parker) was named UW-Whitewater's defensive player of the week. McCulloch helped hold UW-Stout to only one touchdown in a 30-7 victory for UW-Whitewater. He had four solo tackles and one assisted tackle throughout the game Saturday, and also broke up one pass.
Kris Rosholt (Reedsburg/Reedsburg) was named UW-Whitewater's, as well as the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics Conference special team's player of the week. In his two punts of the game against UW-Stout, he totaled 101 yards; a 50.5 average. Both of his punts were downed at the one yard line.
