Senior guard, Kelsey Hendrickson (Monroe/Monroe), has earned UW-Whitewater women's basketball player of the week. On Wednesday, December 30, UW-Whitewater defeated Edgewood College 67-64 in Madison. Hendrickson scored 12 points while shooting 100 percent at the free thow line (6-6) as well as having six steals and six assists. On Saturday, January 2, UW-W lost to number one ranked Illinois Wesleyan 87-58 at home. Despite the loss she led the team with 16 points and four assists.
