Bell and Demos named UW-Whitewater Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week

Shelby Demos have been named UW-Whitewater women's track and field athletes of the week for their performances this past weekend at the UW-Whitewater Invitational. Demos was also honored as the WIAC field athlete of the week.
Bell won the 55 meter dash in a time a 7.47 seconds and anchored the 4x400 meter relay team to a second place finish.
Demos improved her school record and national automatic qualifying height in the the high jump to 1.71 meters (5' 7.25"). She currently holds the second highest jump in the country. Demos also placed second in the 55m hurdles in a time of 8.96 seconds.
The Warhawks will travel to Naperville, IL on Friday to compete in the North Central Triangular at 4:30 pm.
