Dustin Mitchell Named UWW and WIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Senior Forward/Center Dustin Mitchell, from Lac Du Flambeau (Lakeland) is named UW-Whitewater's and WIAC Men’s Basketball player of the week. Mitchell went 7-13 from the field and 2-5 from three-point land against UW-Eau Claire.
In the game against UW-Platteville, Mitchell led both teams with 29 points, hitting 12-16 shots from the field and 4-4 from the line.
UW-W is now 15-2 overall and 7-1 in the WIAC and ranked fifth in the D3hoops.com poll. Whitewater will play UW-Stevens Point tomorrow, January 27 at 7:00 p.m. The next home game will be January 30 at 6:00 p.m. agaisnt UW-Stout visiting Kachel Gym in Williams Center.
