Annie Mix and
Justine Weyer were named UW-Whitewater and WIAC athletes of the week in the meet against UW-La Crosse January 16.
Mix was named UW-Whitewater gymnastics specialist of the week. The freshman took first on the uneven bars with a 9.5 and is currently ranked first in Division III. This is Mix's second week in a row with a 9.5 or higher on uneven bars.
Weyer was named UW-Whitewater gymnastics all-around gymnast of the week. The senior won the all-around with a 37.10, taking third on the floor exercise, fifth on the balance beam, sixth on the uneven bars, and fourth on the vault.
The Warhawks will face UW-Eau Claire in their next meet on January 22 at 6:30 p.m.
