University of Wisconsin-Whitewater

Senior David Casper earned UW-Whitewater wreslter of the week honors with his performance at the National Wrestling Coaches Association Cliff Keen Duals hosted by the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Rapids, Iowa Saturday. Whitewater was 1-3 as a team at the meet but Casper was 3-0 on the day in the 184 weight class. In his first match of the day, Casper defeated Brad Baus of Augsburg College 10-3. In his second match, Casper defeated Andrew Gatewood of Williams Center 15-3. In his final match, Casper defeated Brandon Faust of UW-La Crosse 10-2. With his three wins, Casper raised his season record to 10-5.
