Freshman all-around gymnast, Mary Kate Young (Lawrenceville, GA/Cullins Hill), earned UW-W gymnast of the week with her performance at the quadrangular meet at the University of California-Davis on January 10. Young led UW-W in the floor exercise with her 9.45 tying for eleventh place. She also had a 8.85 on the beam as well as a 9.05 on the bars. This was the first meet of the 2010 season for UW-Whitewater.
