UW-W Fifth, Davis Eighth After Day One

UW-Whitewater is tied for fifth place in a field of twenty-one teams at a tournament hosted by UW-Eau Claire.  The tourney is at the halfway point, with a final eighteen holes Sunday.  Gustavus Adolphus College leads the field with 303 strokes, with UW-W knotted with Gustavus' second team and Viterbo College at 340.

Chelsea Davis is among a group of seven players bunched in eighth place with 79's.  Kali Griggs shot 73 for the day one lead.

The Warhawks' only appearance at home this fall will be September 25 when they host at tournament at Riverside Golf Course in Janesville.
