The Warhawk women's golf team captured the title of the Oshkosh Invitational, winning the two-day competition by twenty strokes over second place Carroll University. Warhawk
Chelsea Davis (Greendale/Greendale) earned medalist honors with rounds of 77-82+159, besting second place by four strokes.

Final team scores were UW-Whitewater 687, Carroll 707, Davenport University 738, UW-Platteville 751, UW-Oshkosh 782, Saint Norbert 783, and Ripon College 814.
Davis was followed by Caitlin Duval of Davenport, 163, and Emily Wichman 170.
Other UW-W competitors included
Gianna Tenuta (Kenosha/Bradford), sixth at 175; Melanie Melgenson, eighth at 179; and
Lindsay Porter (Verona/Madison Memorial) (seventh at 181).
UW-Whitewater will participate in a tournament hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University September 19-20. The ony home meet of the season will be September 25 at the Riverside Golf Course in Janesville.
