Junior Jason Hooper (Lake Mills/Lake Mills) and freshman Ben Versnik (West Allis/Hale) are playing summer baseball with the La Crosse Loggers.  The Loggers are a part of the Northwoods League, a premier summer collegiate baseball league.  The league prepares college players to play at the next level.  They have a 68-game schedule and players hit with wooden bats.

Hooper and Versnick, both righthanded pitchers, follow in the footsteps of another Warhawk pitcher to play for the Loggers, Aaron Dott (Green Lake/Green Lake).  Dott was 1-0 with the Loggers last summer with a stingy 0.49 ERA.
