Two Milwaukee off-duty firefighters, a policeman, and several quick acting community members pitched in to rescus a mother a two children from a car fire in Milwaukee July 19.  The two firefighters, John and Joel Rechlitz, are the father and uncle of UW-W junior infielder Nick Rechlitz (Milwaukee/Marquette). Join in helping four-year-old D.J. Harper and his family! 

UW-Whitewater athletics wishes to commend the selfless and heroic actions of the people involved, and the visible demonstration of a community caring.  Many people showed the value of sacrifice and teamwork under the most trying of circumstances.
