Academic Honors for Men's Tennis

The men's tennis team also excelled in the classroom, with a 3.33 cumulative grade point average to earn All-Academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.  There were five Warhawks who earned GPA's over 3.5 to qualify as an ITA Scholar Athlete.  The individuals recognized included: Kyle Halweg, Mike Harmatys, Alex Lowe, Alex Mory, and Erich Palecek.  Harmatys and Palecek both earned 4.0 for the semester. 

The tennis team made its third third consecutive appearance to the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Championship Tournament.  At the NCAA DIII Championship the Warhawks defeated UW-Eau Claire 5-0 and then lost to Gustavus Adolphus 5-0.  Whitewater's overall dual meet record was 22-9 and 17-6 against Division III opponents.
