Jahn Breaks School Record in 200 at National Meet

UW-Whitewater's Kristen Jahn swam the 200 breaststroke, finishing twenty-seventh in the preliminaries at the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Swimming and Diving Championship hosted by Macalester College at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis Saturday. 

Jahn was timed in 2:25.34, breaking the UW-Whitewater record of 2:25.41 she set at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship at the Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer, Wisconsin exactly one month ago.The top time in the prelims was turned in by Annie Perizzolo of Claremont Mudd Scripps Colleges in 2:19.60.  The top sixteen in each event advance to the finals Saturday night.

Jahn also competed in the 100 breaststroke Friday, placing eighteenth in the preliminaries for that event.
