Bault Earns Team MVP

Erin Bault earned one of the Team MVP awards at the tournmament from February 28 to March 1 at the 6th Annual Holiday Bowling Classic in Bessemer, Alabama. The team placed seventh of 16 teams with a total pinfall of 10,853.

The tournament champion was determined by total pinfall. Other team standings are as follows: University of Nebraska 11,993; Vanderbilt University 11,713; Central Missouri 11,648; Arkansas State 11,348; Maryland Eastern Shore 11,305; Alabama A&M 11,264; Wisconsin-Whitewater 10,853; Minnesota State 10,777; Sacred Heart 10,588; Kutztown University 10,556; Jackson State 10,149; Bethune Cookman 10,147; Florida A&M 9,677; Grand Canyon 9,615; Alabama State 8,859; and Fontbonne University 8,361.

Bault was also the highest Whitewater finisher, placing fourteenth of 105 bowlers. The next four highest Whitewater bowlers included Whitney Kueltzo in 28th, Danielle Sternberg not too far behind Kueltzo in 31st, Kayla Schmidt in 35th, and Candice Schmidt in 49th. Leading the Warhawks in high game and high series was Kayla Schmidt who contributed a 228 game and a series of 628.

The next tournament will be Saturday, March 7 hosting Elmhurst at the Whitewater Recreation Center starting at 10:30 am.
