UW-Whitewater turned in four more school record performances, and Kristen Jahn added a provisional qualifying performance to her automatic yesterday, to highlight the final day of competition in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship at the Schroeder YMCA in Brown Deer, Wisconsin Saturday. Whitewater placed fourth of six WIAC teams.

Team scores were as follows: UW-La Crosse 970, UW-Stevens Point 808, UW-Eau Claire 611, UW-Whitewater 384, UW-Oshkosh 241, and UW-River Falls 153.
Jahn's fourth place finish in the 200 breaststroke, 2:25.81, met the "B" qualifying standard for the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III championship and broke UW-W's school record. Courtney Jenkins placed fifth in the 200 butterfly in a team season best time of 2:13.77. Megan Kohnke touched eighth in the 100 freestyle in 53.45, also a school record. Not to be outdone, Jess Wells placed tenth in the 200 backstroke in 2:14.49, another school record. Jenkins and Kohnke were joined by Kaylyn Howley and Randi Osgood# on the fourth place 400 freestyle relay -- another school record performance, this one 3:38.31. In the other event on the final day, the 1650 freestyle, Megan Roegner led UW-W, finishing thirteenth in 19:06.20.
Jahn will advance to the NCAA III championship March 18-21 in the 100 breaststroke with her automatic qualifying time from Friday, and she will likely be added to the field in the 200 breaststroke as well.
