Kristen Jahn can make reservations for Minneapolis.  Jahn met the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III championship automatic qualifying standard with a 1:04.52 in the preliminaries of the 100 breaststroke Friday in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer, Wisconsin.

Jahn broke the school record with a 1:04.52 in the prelims, then finished second in the 100 breaststroke with a 1:04.59 in the finals.  The NCAA III championship will be held March 18-21 at the University of Minnesota.

She may be joined by teammate Megan Kohnke, who swam a school record 1:55.38 in the 200 freestyle prelims, meeting the NCAA III provisional standard.  She followed that up with a fourth place finish in the finals in 1:55.85.

Jahn and Kohnke weren't the only ones breaking school records.  Courtney Jenkins broke the school record in the 400 individual medley in the prelims, then lowered it again to 4:39.23 with a seventh place finish in the finals.  Kohnke and Jenkins formed half of the 800 freestyle relay which placed fourth, notching another school record, with Randi Osgood and Kaylyn Howley joining them for a 7:59.93 clocking.  The 200 medley relay of Wells, Jahn, Jenkins, and Osgood were surpassed only by Jahn's finish, touching third and writing their names in the school record book with a 254.6.

Other top finishes for UW-W Friday included Howley's tenth place in the 100 backstroke in 1:01.65, Sierra Theilke's eleventh in the 100 butterfly in 1:01.96 (after posting a team season best of 1:01.44 in the prelims), and eighth place in one meter diving by Jayne Benson with a team season best 254.6 points.
