Led by four school record performances the Warhawk men moved up a spot into third place after day two of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer, Wisconsin Friday.

Mike Huffman led UW-W individual placewinners, tying for third place in the 100 backstroke in the school record time of 53.05. Huffman also played a role in UW-W's other top performance of the day, leading off for the 800 freestyle relay. That quartet, which included Kyle Stoermer, Eric Nord, and Bill Stenavich, wrote in a new school mark with a time of 7:01.44 for third place. Not to be outdone, the 200 medley relay (names not available) also placed third, and also set a school record, touching in 1:37.35.
Tyler Slak wrote his name in the record book with a 52.37 clocking in the 100 butterfly, where he finished seventh. Andy Hanney finished fifth in the 400 individual medley in a team season best time of 4:18.86. Matt Wiswell swam a team season best time in the 100 breaststroke preliminaries (1:01.51), and finished eighth in the finals at 1:01.74. Stenavich did the same thing in the 200 freestyle, where he provided a team season best of 1:44.88 in the prelims, then placed ninth in the finals in 1:45.26.
