The men's cross country team moved up once again in the national poll this week. The
U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Poll finds the Warhawks ranked 25th, five spots up from 30th last week. This past weekend the Warhawks finished 6th of 35 at the Brooks Invitational.

Similar to last week's poll, six teams were ranked in the powerful Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference: UW-La Crosse #3, UW-Stevens Point #5, UW-Platteville #11, UW-Oshkosh #18, UW-Whitewater #25, and UW-Eau Claire #30. Additionally, eight teams in the Midwest region were ranked followed by six in the Atlantic region. UW-W is ranked 7th in the Midwest region.
The men's next competition will take place Saturday at the Badger Ridge Run in Madison, WI at 10:30 am. They will be running a partial squad as the rest of the team prepares to host the conference meet on Saturday October 31.
