Two Warhawks Named to WIAC Golf Team
WIAC Golf Team

Chelsea Davis and Lindsay Porter have been named to the WIAC Women's Golf Team.

The squad was selected based on Golfstat's rankings of lowest stroke average versus par following the conclusion of the WIAC Championship.

Chelsea Davis, a senior from Greendale, has earned First Team 2009 All-WIAC Women's Golf Team honors.  Davis has the top individual 18 hole rounds of the season with a 75. She also has the top 36 hole round with a shot of 162, as well as top individual 52 rounds, shooting a 245.  Davis finished fifth after carding a three day total of 245 at the WIAC Conference Tournament.

Lindsay Porter, a senior from Verona, was selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team.  Porter finished with a 271 at the WIAC Conference Tournament.  Porter also was named to UW-Whitewater Sportsmanship Team.  In a relatively new initiative, each WIAC team names one player who best represents these qualities and was picked by the coach or team.
