Jordan Leads UW-W at Carthage
Bridgette Jordan finished thirty-ninth to lead UW-Whitewater at the Carthage Invitational Friday afternoon.   There were ninety-eight competitors, and the Warhawks finished sixth in the team standings.

Team scores were Wheaton 34, Carthage 36, Saint Norbert 75, UW-Oshkosh 91, Edgewood 127, UW-Whitewater 165, Harper 209.

 Bridgette Jordan was timed in 25:57.4.  Jenny Scherer of Saint Norbert won the race, crossing in 22:38.2.  The other runners that contributed to Whitewater's team score were Lisa D'Alessio, 50th in 26:29.2; Katherine Timm, 52nd in 26:31.7; Lindsey Schulte, 55th in 26:41.5; and Megan Strandell, 26:49.0 for 59th.

UW-W ran the meet for training and race strategy practice.  The Warhawks are coming off the Griak Invitational last week and have the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meet in sight later this month. The Warhawks will participate in the Ripon Invitational Saturday, October 10.
