Team scores were: UW-Stevens Point 1091, Gustavus Adolphus 821.5, UW-La Crosse 605, Minnesota State 591.5, UW-Eau Claire 384, UW-Whitewater 173, UW-Oshkosh 35. UW-Whitewater's score is misleading, because the Get to the Point meet is a two day competition and UW-W only participated in Saturday's events.
Mike Huffman (Palatine, IL/Palatine) led the Warhawks. Huffman placed fourth in the 50 freestyle in 22.40 and tenth in the 200 freestyle in 1:50.98. He was also a member of the 400 freestyle relay, which placed sixth with a time of 3:19.99. Other members of that team were Bill Stenavich (Brookfield/Central), Riston Furseth (Janesville/Milton), and Eric Nord (Hales Corner/Whitnall).
Other Warhawks who earned top ten finishes in their events were David Tatro (Lodi/Lodi), who placed tenth in the three meter diving event with a score of 315.45, Adam Altenburg (Watertown/Watertown), and Nate Glover (Milton/Milton) who finished in seventh and eighth in the 100 butterfly with times of 56.16 and 56.64, respectivly. Andy Hanney (Grafton/Grafton) placed sixth in the 200 backstroke clocking in at 2:04.35, and Kyle Stoermer (Ozark, MO/Nixa) swam to a ninth place finish in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 17:51.32.
