UW-Whitewater sophomore swimmer Andy Hanney (Grafton/Grafton) has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week and the Warhawk Swimmer of the Week, while senior David Tatro (Lodi/Lodi) has earned UW-W Diver of the Week honors.

Both earned the honors for the performances at the Falcon Invite at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities on Dec. 5 and 6.

Hanney (sophomore/Grafton) won the 100 backstroke in :55.47 to place the Warhawk men third on Friday.  On Saturday, Hanney took second in the 200 backstroke, with a time of 1:58.82 and finished second in two relays.

Tatro (senior/ Lodi) took third place in the three meter diving with a score of 164.25 on Friday.  He took ninth on Saturday with a score of 163.65 after six dives.
