UW-Whitewater opened play in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III championship tournament with a 9-1 win Thursday, stopped by the deficit rule, over Coe College in the regional hosted by Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.   UW-Whitewater's post-season site.

The Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association named UW-Whitewater sophomores Amanda LeBeau and Lauren Cruz to the Division III All-Great Lakes Region First Team and junior Amy Gahl to the second team.

Aaron Dott struck out eleven and got thirteen runs of support in a game one win over UW-Stevens Point Monday in Whitewater.  The win clinched at least a share of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season title.  A game two victory meant the Warhawks could have the title outright, their sixth outright title in eight years, and they did just that, winning 15-8.
